Job Description
Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Recruiting to lead talent acquisition efforts at its new manufacturing facility in Manteno, Illinois. This role involves developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent for manufacturing, engineering, and technical roles, particularly within the energy storage systems (ESS) sector. The Senior Manager will lead a team of five Recruiters, collaborate with department heads, and optimize the recruitment process to ensure efficiency and a positive candidate experience.

Role Involves:
  • Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Recruiters.
  • Collaborating with department heads to understand hiring needs.
  • Sourcing candidates through various channels.
  • Streamlining the recruitment process.
  • Building Gotion’s employer brand.
  • Tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Overseeing university recruiting programs.
  • Engaging with industry trends and local communities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing or technical hardware roles.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment strategies for technical and manufacturing roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Ideally Greenhouse) and recruitment tools.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using recruitment metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
