Product Manager, Google DeepMind Impact Accelerator ( 6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description

Google DeepMind is seeking a Product Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract within the Google DeepMind Impact Accelerator (GDI). This role involves developing an AI product portfolio focused on the social impact of Google DeepMind's generative AI technology. The Product Manager will work in partnership with GDI’s leadership team and will be responsible for selecting and proposing a second early-stage project in this area. This involves market research, internal organizational research, use case analysis, stakeholder engagement, and product definition.

The Product Manager will collaborate with diverse teams across Alphabet and external partners in this evolving and dynamic area of Google DeepMind.

Role Involves:

• Identifying and defining opportunities to use Google DeepMind technology to solve real-world problems.
• Scoping and prototyping products incorporating ideas from stakeholders and partners.
• Driving strategic deep dives across GDM's generative AI technologies.
• Defining metrics and achievements to accelerate discovery.
• Building relationships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of real-world AI applications.
• Confidence engaging researchers and engineers.
• Product Management experience; crafting strategic product roadmaps.
• Experience and a proven ability to collaborate with a variety of teams and partners.
• Outstanding communication skills.
