Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer I/II to join their Space Systems team in Long Beach, CA. This role involves testing radio frequency components and systems for satellites. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. This position supports the Chief Space Systems Engineer and Space Systems organization.
Role Involves:
- Designing test setups
- Developing test scripts to automate tests
- Developing test plans and procedures
- Conducting testing and post-processing data
- Developing test reports
- Training and supporting production technicians
- Supporting the production process
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, RF communications; or other engineering degree
- 5+ years' experience (Senior RF Test Engineer I) or 8+ years' experience (Senior RF Test Engineer II) in RF device/system testing
- Working knowledge of common RF components
- Solid theoretical understanding of RF test and measurement principles
- Experience using RF test and measurement equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and spectrum analyzer
