Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure their success in digital transformation. The Technical Manager will serve as the key technical contact and advisor, providing technical, product, and business knowledge to facilitate successful implementations of the Backbase platform and build lasting customer relationships.
The role involves:
- Defining and driving clients’ overall technical strategy.
- Addressing product-related queries and engaging with stakeholders.
- Traveling to clients to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Becoming an internal advocate for the client within Backbase.
- Identifying opportunities for better product adoption and providing guidance on best practices.
- Collaborating with R&D to provide customer feedback and identify new features.
- Analyzing customer needs and suggesting upgrades or additional features.
- Collaborating with Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Project Implementation teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years overall experience and 5 years of Technical Account Management experience.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in enterprise software.
- Experience with digital transformation projects in financial institutions (a plus).
- Experience with Java, Spring, Maven, Gradle, Angular, Kotlin, Cloud Deployments, Docker, Kubernetes, and Swift.
- Strong view on technical architectures.
- Advocacy for Agile methodologies.
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
- Fluency in English.
