Internal Communications Manager

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join their Communications team. The Internal Communications team works across various departments to cultivate a culture rooted in the company's mission, values, and goals. This role ensures every Anthropic employee feels engaged, informed, and understands their contribution to the mission as a public benefit corporation.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead communications strategy for a dedicated portfolio of functional areas.
• Partner closely with function leaders and executives to understand priorities and help them communicate change.
• Cultivate and manage channels for disseminating timely information from teams.
• Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research to propose strategies and tactics.
• Weave the brand across different touchpoints, uplifting stories that connect daily work to the mission.
• Exhibit operational excellence to help plan and execute internal forums.
• Partner closely with the broader internal communications team to ensure updates are accurately cascaded.
• Co-design and implement principles, practices, and governance for how communications channels are used.

Requirements:

• Exceptional writing skills with a talent for distilling complex information.
• 5-7 years of experience in fast-changing, complex, and international organizations.
• Experience as a communications business partner or trusted advisor.
• Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships with executives.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
