Job Description
Twilio is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to join their Messaging Overlay team. This role focuses on driving commercial and operational success within strategic accounts by leading and partnering with internal stakeholders to define strategy and execution plans. The Senior Sales Specialist will manage a selected number of strategic accounts, some of Twilio’s largest customers, and will have a quota.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive strategy to achieve optimized profitability within account territory.
  • Prioritize opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Own pricing strategy and execution, working closely with routing specialists.
  • Provide regular performance reports to management.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal partners and key stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Represent Twilio and its values at industry events.


Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a sales role, preferably in the international telecom industry.
  • Highly analytical and strategic attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings with customers and exceed critical metrics.
  • Ability to test and iterate on new ideas quickly.
  • Comfortable working with highly technical, operational, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong individual self-drive and negotiation skills.
