Job Description

Workleap is seeking a Principal System Designer to be responsible for designing a modern and unified design system essential for Workleap Platform and ShareGate. The designer will be integrated into an engineering team specializing in UI foundations and platform scalability. He/She will define and evolve the design system, listen to internal client needs, apply design and UX best practices, and create sustainable solutions that improve team collaboration and user experience.

Role Involves:

• Defining and evolving the shared design system across multiple products and brands.
• Designing flexible, reusable, and inclusive solutions.
• Collaborating with developers to implement the system.
• Supporting Workleap and ShareGate designers in adopting the system.
• Continuously improving work processes.
• Adopting a forward-thinking approach to support AI-powered features.
• Contributing to UX practice improvements.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in creating and evolving large-scale design systems.
• Expertise in interaction design, accessibility, and inclusive UI patterns.
• Close collaboration with engineers.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Passion for supporting others and simplifying complexity.
• Experience in mentorship and strong communication skills.
