Job Description
The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is seeking a Grant Proposal Writer to join their Partnerships & Philanthropy team. This role involves developing compelling proposals and donor-facing materials to communicate the impact of GEAPP's global programs. The Grant Proposal Writer will collaborate with various teams to translate complex information into persuasive content for foundations, governments, and corporate partners.
Role Involves:
- Writing funding proposals, concept notes, and reports.
- Managing the full proposal lifecycle.
- Collaborating with regional and technical teams.
- Creating donor-facing materials.
- Gathering insights and impact data for storytelling.
- Maintaining standardized messaging and content libraries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in grant writing or donor communications.
- Proven track record of securing institutional or philanthropic support.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with climate, energy access, or development funding.
Role Offers:
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Annualized starting salary of $95,000-$110,000.
