Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Garner Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in New York City. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for someone passionate about their mission and eager to learn and teach others.This role involves:

• Building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Defining and building reusable data sets for Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Data Science Research.
• Designing and building a federated data validation framework.
• Protecting user privacy and security.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Expertise in Python and familiarity with SQL.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data modeling.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Argo), databases (PostgreSQL), and data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with distributed event-driven architectures (NATS is a plus).
• Familiarity with healthcare or insurance.
• Ability to learn quickly and mentor others.
