Director of Business Insights

Job Description

AutoProff is seeking a Director of Business Insights to lead their business insights and shape their analytical vision within financial, commercial, and operational performance. The Director will play a vital role in executing the data strategy, ensuring data is used consistently to guide business decisions, improve customer experiences, and drive growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director's expertise will be pivotal in propelling AutoProff towards continuous growth and development.Role involves:

• Defining and developing AutoProff Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and standardized analyses.
• Defining and implementing the AutoProff Business insights roadmap.
• Providing insights to guide and drive commercial decisions and optimization.
• Democratizing data across the organization through purpose build tools.
• Serving as a key member of the AutoProff Data Governance Council.
• Ensuring KPIs are being defined according to business standards.
• Preparing reporting towards AutoProff board, executive management and commercial leadership team.
• Supporting the transition to a new BI tool.
• Actively participating in the Data Analytics Guild.
• Managing and developing a small team.

Requirements:

• Educational background in a relevant field (master's degree preferred).
• Proven track record of supporting business growth through analytics and insights.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Managerial skills or interest in becoming an excellent people manager.
• Ability to convert business needs into value creating insights.
• Ability to create transparency of development pipeline and drive prioritization.
• Comfortable writing SQL scripts.
