Software Development Engineer I / II - Frontend

Job Description

CloudSEK is seeking a Software Development Engineer I/II - Frontend to join their team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for CloudSEK's flagship products. He/She will collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create intuitive and visually appealing web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Develop new features and enhance existing frontend components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Optimize web applications for performance.
• Implement responsive designs.
• Collaborate with the backend team to define and consume APIs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and troubleshoot frontend defects.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with the documentation team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of industry experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries like React, React Query, and NextJS.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools, package managers, and module bundlers.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
