Job Description
YouGov is seeking a Data Analytics and Insights Consultant to join their team in Milan, Italy. In this role, the consultant will work with FMCG clients, analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights into shopper behavior. The consultant will be responsible for defining analyses, delivering insights to clients, building solutions for colleagues, and improving data and process quality.Responsibilities:
  • Creates the adequate research design.
  • Define input data for statistical analyses and implement the research design in one of the specified coding languages (Python, R, SPSS, SAS).
  • Proactively develop mechanisms for automation with the main objectives being quality improvement, reduction of error rates – across teams or, if necessary, across divisions.
  • Creates complex analysis on market data for reporting purposes or responding to specific customer requests.
  • Analyse market data and trends in data using various tools, in order to generate insights for the client.
  • Develop charts, presentation and reports with corresponding insights that respond to customer questions.
  • Promotes automation processes and develops efficient ways to create client deliverables (Excel, PowerBi dashboard, databases, auto-charting,etc.)
  • Client interaction, especially as an expert of consumer data.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Fluent Italian language skills.
  • Fluent in English spoken and written (at least B2).
  • Very good knowledge in Business Intelligence, Strategy, Data Analysis or a similar field.
  • Good knowledge of statistical software like Python, SPSS, R and SAS Base/Guide.
  • Good experience with BI tools to create reports and dashboards using data visualization (i.e. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Advanced Excel (VBA programming) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Flexibility and ability to collaborate in teams, ensuring adherence to deadlines and assigned goals.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
