Job Description
Guardsquare is seeking a passionate Solution Engineer to join their presales and services team in Leuven, Belgium. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering and a strong interest in IT security. Guardsquare is a software product company known for its open-source project ProGuard and security products DexGuard and iXGuard. They specialize in compiler technology, obfuscation, encryption, and optimization techniques to enhance application security.
Role Involves:
- Giving presentations about products and mobile security at conferences and seminars.
- Conducting webinars, training, and consultancy sessions.
- Assisting prospects with technical queries.
- Performing penetration tests on mobile apps.
- Researching the latest mobile security and hacking technologies.
- Providing input to engineering, product management, and marketing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- First experience in coding.
- Dynamic and engaging presentation style.
- Knowledge of information security.
- Familiarity with Android and/or iOS app development (preferred).
- Familiarity with Proguard or Dexguard (preferred).
- Familiarity with Android Studio and the Android build tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with the XCode build process (preferred).
- Experience with reverse engineering and related tools (preferred).
