Junior Frontend Engineer - API Hub for Design (SwaggerHub)

Job Description

SmartBear is seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to join their API Hub for Design (SwaggerHub) team in Wrocław, Poland. The successful candidate will build well-designed, clean applications with solid technical foundations, focusing on frontend technologies. He/She will gain exposure to cutting-edge development technology and work with internal teams globally to build solutions for API testing.

The role involves:

• Ensuring development JS aligns with software engineering and UX best practices.
• Developing Single Page Applications using React JS and other frameworks & libraries.
• Driving high engineering standards through peer design and code reviews.
• Building and maintaining robust unit tests.
• Creating and maintaining technical and support documentation.
• Collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

SmartBear is looking for someone who has:

• 1+ years of experience with web-based technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with React, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Tailwind.
• Professional experience with TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Proven ability to implement pixel-perfect UI design.
• X-browser compatibility skills (CSS3, pre-processors).
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
