Senior Manager, Product Design

Job Description

Snyk is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead the evolution of user experience. The Senior Manager will champion the consistency and impact of the Snyk brand across the product. This role involves leading a team of product designers who collaborate with product and engineering teams to create user-friendly experiences. The Senior Manager will also partner with leadership and cross-functional field teams on customer UX research initiatives.

Role involves:

• Leading and managing a team of product designers.
• Championing UX Design and its impact across the organization.
• Developing a product design strategy.
• Partnering with Product Management and GTM teams.
• Presenting Design Concepts and ideas to Senior Leaders.
• Working collaboratively across multiple teams to evangelize consistency.
• Building flexible design systems.
• Guiding the team to solve complex problems.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of UX design experience with 3+ years in leadership positions.
• Experience developing and managing design teams for a SaaS product portfolio.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to executives.
• Experience with Design tools such as Figma or similar.
• Proficiency in translating usability research, customer feedback, and business requirements into consistent product experiences.
• Agile, fast-paced, and iterative development experience.
