Job Description
At-Bay is seeking a Cyber Security Advisor to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping the cybersecurity landscape for SMBs by delivering cybersecurity services and reducing security risks for At-Bay’s policyholders. The Cyber Advisor will engage with insureds, offering advice on managing cyber risks and improving their security posture, while also providing mitigation assistance for identified vulnerabilities. They will also act as a liaison between insureds and the underwriting team, addressing cybersecurity-related questions.
Role Involves:
- Supporting the development and delivery of cybersecurity services.
- Engaging with insureds to provide advice on managing cyber risks.
- Offering mitigation assistance for identified vulnerabilities.
- Acting as a liaison between insureds and the underwriting team.
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify key threat scenarios.
- Collaborating on scalable risk mitigation strategies.
- Participating in market messaging to promote cybersecurity services.
Requirements:
- Experience advising clients on detecting host and network-based intrusions using technologies like EDR.
- Experience guiding clients in collecting and analyzing data from various cyber defense resources.
- Experience identifying and categorizing vulnerabilities and attack types.
- Experience interpreting detection signatures and performing packet-level analysis.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and advising on remediation efforts.
- Experience applying cybersecurity and privacy principles to align with organizational requirements.
- Experience providing trend analysis and insights into emerging cyber threats.
- Experience navigating cyber defense reporting structures.
