Security Analyst, Managed Detection & Response

Job Description

At-Bay is seeking a Security Analyst to join their Managed Detection & Response team. At-Bay is an InsurSec company that combines insurance with security technologies to protect small businesses from digital risks. The Security Analyst will provide first-line security monitoring services to At-Bay’s MDR customers.

The role involves:

• Operating and tuning security monitoring tools.
• Identifying and analyzing anomalous activity.
• Triaging event data to identify potential indicators of compromise.
• Escalating potentially malicious activity.
• Participating in incident investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery.
• Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Developing and delivering reports to customer stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Previous EDR, MDR, XDR, security monitoring, or incident response experience.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Hands-on experience performing security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.

At-Bay offers:

• Estimated base pay range of $80,000-$110,000 per year.
• Opportunity to work remotely within the US.
