Job Description

Level.works is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join their international development team in Rotterdam. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire codebase, take responsibility, and build scalable solutions with societal impact. The Fullstack Developer will work on the development of the platform, which helps thousands of people find flexible work daily. They will collaborate with colleagues in Rotterdam and the Czech Republic, requiring fluency in English.

The role involves:

• Building and improving features in the platform using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Writing behavior-based tests and contributing to a stable codebase.
• Actively contributing to technical choices, scalability, and architecture.
• Working flexibly on different parts of the stack.
• Collaborating with colleagues, conducting code reviews, and sharing knowledge.
• Working in multidisciplinary sprints with the product owner, designer, marketing, and other developers.

Requirements include:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a fullstack developer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and comfort in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience with modern stacks like React and Node.js.
• Interest or experience in writing tests.
• Broad interest in the entire codebase and ownership of work.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues in the office.
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
