Job Description
ClickHouse is seeking a QA Engineer to join its Control Plane team. This role is based in the Netherlands and offers the flexibility of remote work. The Control Plane team is responsible for administrative APIs used to manage ClickHouse Cloud resources, including billing, monitoring, and support portals. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain automated test scripts, design and implement test automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
Role involves:
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
- Designing, implementing, and executing end-to-end test automation frameworks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product, and Development).
- Identifying and documenting bugs.
- Analyzing test results and troubleshooting failures.
- Developing test strategies and plans.
- Optimizing test automation for efficiency and coverage.
- Staying updated with industry trends in automation testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on web applications.
- Strong experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and APIs (REST).
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with SQL for basic querying and data validation.
