GoFundMe, the world's most powerful community for good, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join its Incubation team in Argentina. This role offers the opportunity to shape the technical vision and build the foundation for groundbreaking products. The Senior Engineering Manager will lead the development of Partnership APIs and establish a new team focused on marketing technology.He/She will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and growing a local engineering team to design and build reliable, scalable systems. This position requires close collaboration with Product, Design, and Data teams to validate ideas quickly.The role involves:

• Building and leading an engineering team in Argentina.
• Shaping product strategy in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Architecting systems from scratch using GoFundMe’s cloud-native and GraphQL-first approach.
• Driving execution through sprint planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Instituting best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and security.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including building teams from the ground up.
• 8+ years of experience building scalable systems and shipping new products.
• Strategic mindset with comfort in ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
• Startup spirit with a passion for solving novel problems.
