Job Description
iFood is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist Specialist to join their team in Brazil. This role is focused on developing and implementing end-to-end data and AI solutions for fraud prevention. The ideal candidate will work with internal data and AI platforms such as Databricks, Airflow, and AWS SageMaker to develop fraud detection models. They will collaborate with leadership to identify business needs, align with the data and AI team, and develop machine learning models.
The role involves:
- Designing and implementing data and AI solutions for fraud prevention.
- Using Databricks, Airflow, and AWS SageMaker for model development.
- Mapping business needs and opportunities in fraud prevention.
- Collaborating with data and AI teams and other relevant areas.
- Developing and improving machine learning models and statistical indicators.
- Developing experimentation and model monitoring platforms.
- Promoting a technical culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Presenting results and insights to stakeholders.
- Mentoring junior data scientists.
- Analyzing large volumes of transactional data.
