Ultimaker is seeking a Junior to Medior Buyer to join their Procurement team in Zaltbommel. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring smooth operations by ordering components, managing supplier communication, and resolving delivery issues. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for production and innovation projects.
What this role involves:
- Processing purchase requests and creating purchase orders.
- Tracking order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery timelines.
- Maintaining daily communication with suppliers.
- Handling delays, incorrect deliveries, or quality issues.
- Requesting quotations and supporting cost-saving efforts.
- Onboarding new suppliers and updating supplier data.
- Supporting the team with reporting and administrative tasks.
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments.
Requirements:
- A completed bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or similar.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with basic procurement processes and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 is a plus).
- A proactive and organized work style.
- Solid communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A hands-on, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
