Job Description

Ultimaker is seeking a Junior to Medior Buyer to join their Procurement team in Zaltbommel. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring smooth operations by ordering components, managing supplier communication, and resolving delivery issues. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for production and innovation projects.

What this role involves:

  • Processing purchase requests and creating purchase orders.
  • Tracking order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintaining daily communication with suppliers.
  • Handling delays, incorrect deliveries, or quality issues.
  • Requesting quotations and supporting cost-saving efforts.
  • Onboarding new suppliers and updating supplier data.
  • Supporting the team with reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments.

Requirements:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or similar.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with basic procurement processes and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 is a plus).
  • A proactive and organized work style.
  • Solid communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • A hands-on, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
