Ultimaker is seeking a Strategic Procurement & Planning Manager to lead procurement, production planning, and material management activities. The role involves ensuring timely delivery of materials at optimal costs, supporting production readiness, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have strong operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
What This Role Involves:
- Managing supplier relationships and overseeing purchasing activities.
- Leading the planning and execution of production schedules.
- Managing and coaching a small team.
- Continuously improving procurement and planning processes.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or similar (Master’s a plus).
- 8+ years of experience in procurement or planning in a manufacturing setting.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Strong planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Practical knowledge of inventory control, forecasting, and material planning.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
