Vertice, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing SaaS and cloud spend management, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - PreSales to join their team in New York. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and shaping the solution-selling strategy in the North American region. The Senior Solutions Engineer will be the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales process, advocating for Vertice's platform and demonstrating its value to prospective customers. They will collaborate closely with account executives and sales managers, building trusted relationships with prospects and ensuring seamless deployments by translating customer needs to post-sales consultants.

Role involves:
  • Leading discovery sessions and product demonstrations.
  • Addressing customer questions and overcoming objections.
  • Conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Collaborating with sales and technical teams.
  • Ensuring smooth transitions to implementation.
  • Providing feedback to improve processes and products.

Requirements:
  • Strong solution-selling and demo skills.
  • Excellent discovery skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Knowledge of key technical concepts including APIs.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Self-starter who quickly learns new technologies.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a solution-selling environment.
