Senior Product Manager (f/m/d)

Job Description

IONOS, a leading European cloud provider, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategic direction and commercial success of its Private Cloud offering. The role is based in Karlsruhe and involves working with diverse teams in an open, collaborative environment.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the product's market position through strategic planning, market analysis, and product innovation. They will represent IONOS at industry events, build relationships, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and technology teams to optimize product development and marketing efforts.

Role Involves:

• Taking full responsibility for the strategic direction and commercial success of the IONOS Private Cloud.
• Developing long-term strategies and roadmaps.
• Conducting market analyses and competitor surveillance.
• Identifying and implementing innovative product solutions.
• Representing IONOS at industry events.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and technology teams.
• Monitoring product performance and quality.
• Supporting internal and external communication of product developments.

Requirements:

• Completed degree in business administration, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product management.
• In-depth understanding of virtualization technologies; knowledge of VMware is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in creating business cases and pricing models.
• Leadership qualities and experience in leading a team.
• High self-motivation and results-orientation.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
