Job Description
GSR, a leading market maker in cryptocurrency trading, is seeking a Head of Front-Office Technology & Applications. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability and performance of GSR's trading systems and data platforms. The Head of Front-Office Technology & Applications will act as the primary point of contact for traders, proactively identifying and resolving system issues. They will collaborate with trading and technology teams to improve system reliability, optimize performance, and enhance overall efficiency.
Role involves:
- Owning and managing trading applications and data platforms.
- Serving as the key contact for traders, addressing their pain points.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems.
- Leading and mentoring team members.
- Collaborating across tech teams for smooth integration.
- Driving automation and process improvement.
- Ensuring robust monitoring and alerting.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to translate trading requirements.
- Continuously improving system performance.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in trading systems.
- Deep understanding of trading applications and real-time data flows.
- Experience with trading system architecture.
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with market data, order management systems, and risk controls.
