Job Description
Peak Achievement Athletics is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead the corporate financial planning and analysis function for Bauer Hockey & Cascade Maverik Lacrosse. This role is responsible for balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, cost center support, consolidated reporting, capex tracking and forecasting, financial system oversight, and other ad hoc project support. The Corporate Finance Manager will lead the quarterly forecasting, annual budget, four-year planning, and monthly close process for respective functions, reporting to the Sr Finance Director.
Role Involves:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of financial results.
- Managing the development of the company’s balance sheet and cash flow budget/forecast.
- Partnering with stakeholder groups to gather inputs and analyze spending plans.
- Supporting reporting for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Leading the tracking and forecasting of capital expenditures.
- Maintaining and improving the systems landscape and financial reporting processes.
- Providing commentary on month-end, quarter-end, and FY results.
- Managing month-end close for area of responsibility.
- Facilitating quarterly cost center reviews.
- Working cross-functionally with Accounting and key business leaders.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of financial reporting tools and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years of experience in finance/accounting; MBA a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting techniques, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Experience using financial reporting systems (preferably Anaplan) and ERP platforms (preferably SAP).
- Strong knowledge of general accounting concepts (GAAP or IFRS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
