Solutions Architect, Singapore

Job Description

Aerospike is seeking a Solutions Architect to act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers in Singapore. The Solutions Architect will showcase the power of Aerospike's real-time data platform and architect innovative solutions tailored to each client's needs. He will collaborate closely with the sales team, bringing deep product knowledge and technical finesse to every stage of the sales process.Role involves:

• Discussing and qualifying technical requirements with customers.
• Collaborating with sales and other teams to progress deals with customers.
• Architecting solutions to meet the customer’s technical requirements and needs.
• Performing proof-of-concepts to prove that Aerospike can meet the customer’s requirements.
• Presenting technical solutions to various levels at a customer including C-level executives.
• Evangelizing Aerospike at events, meetups etc.
• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management, including product managers.

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to communicate fluently in Bahasa and English
• 7+ years of experience in database technology
• Databases; NoSQL, Relational, Distributed, MPP (e.g. Aerospike, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, HBase, Couchbase, Yugabyte, CockroachDB etc.)
• Strong coding skills in at least one language: Java, C/C++, Python, Go, etc
• Strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes
• Linux experience is a must
• Deep expertise in at least one cloud - AWS, GCP, Azure
