Job Description
Envoy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Visitors team, which focuses on Envoy's flagship visitor management product. This role is based in San Francisco and requires four days a week in the office. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving execution, providing technical leadership, developing talent, and recruiting top-tier engineers.
Role involves:
- Setting clear goals and delivering against them.
- Recruiting, growing, and developing a high-performing engineering team.
- Planning roadmaps and inspiring the team with a compelling vision.
- Being a hands-on engineering lead and people coach.
- Building relationships with cross-functional peers.
- Promoting engineering excellence and culture.
- Investing in Envoy's future through blogs, conferences, and open-source projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical development experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing a high-performance engineering team.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- A track record of rapidly delivering high-impact projects.
- Experience running agile/scrum processes.
- Demonstrated ability to attract and retain top talent.
