Job Description
Axon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support the Dedrone finance team in Germany. This role is crucial for stabilizing the function and supporting the global consolidation and financial reporting process. The Senior Accountant will be based in Kassel, Germany, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week and will report to the Finance Director, Germany.
Role Involves:
- Working closely with sales and international teams on customer agreements.
- Creating and posting invoices, ensuring revenue recognition compliance.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, including payment processing.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Contributing to standard costing processes and variance analysis.
- Serving as a point of contact for local finance leadership and auditors.
- Participating in projects to optimize accounting processes and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent commercial training in finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with multi-element arrangements and international revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with internal controls and process optimization.
