Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Behavior Interventionists in Rio Rancho, NM. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children with autism by working one-on-one and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. The Behavior Interventionist will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while also addressing interfering behaviors.
Role Involves:
- Working one-on-one with children with autism.
- Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must obtain an RBT Certification from the BACB.
