Job Description
Dataiku is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in qualifying deals through collaboration with the Account Executive (AE), the Business Development Representative (BDR), and sales management. They will conduct Discovery meetings to understand the customer's business requirements and technical environment. The Sales Engineer will articulate usage scenarios that illustrate the business value desired by the customer and demonstrate the value using Dataiku.Role involves:
- Qualifying deals through collaboration with sales teams.
- Conducting Discovery meetings to understand customer needs.
- Articulating usage scenarios and demonstrating business value.
- Designing and creating Dataiku demonstrations and Proofs-of-Concept (POCs).
- Executing demonstrations, POCs, and evaluations.
- Providing technical guidance to the customer’s technical team.
- Assisting in sales pipeline building activities.
Requirements:
- Strong natural and intellectual curiosity.
- Experience in technical pre-sales, preferably in a high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with data storage and computing infrastructure.
- Comfortability talking to all levels of customer teams.
- Experience in Analytics/AI or other enterprise software.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, growing company.
