Job Description
Uniswap Labs is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and scalability of its infrastructure. The role involves working cross-functionally with development, product, and security teams to ensure robust and resilient systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, operational excellence, and driving system reliability at scale. This position is based in SoHo, New York City, and offers the flexibility of being partially or fully remote.
Role involves:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining systems to enhance reliability and performance.
- Developing and managing monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
- Conducting root cause analysis of system failures and implementing preventative measures.
- Optimizing system performance and automating repetitive tasks.
- Integrating reliability practices into the development lifecycle.
- Advocating for SRE best practices and fostering a culture of reliability.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders on reliability metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Evaluating and improving existing systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Driving the adoption of new tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
