Job Description
Via is seeking a Strategy & Operations Principal to drive innovation in transit services. This role, based in NYC, requires 3 days per week in the office. The Strategy & Operations Principal will lead projects impacting Via’s operations, set strategy, develop partnerships, and own outcomes in financial and operational analyses, process improvement, and new product development.

What this role involves:
  • Driving the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual operations and financial targets.
  • Engaging in strategic decision-making and rigorous project planning.
  • Managing essential aspects of daily operations for successful service launches.
  • Performing detailed analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ideating and supporting product development initiatives.
  • Developing and nurturing strategic partnerships.


Requirements:
  • Effective communicator.
  • Project ownership skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Technically proficient with analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python).
  • Minimum of 6+ years of work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a record of exceptional academic achievement.
