Rimes is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join their platform team in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing new data processing libraries that integrate into full data pipelines, ensuring robustness, scalability, and efficiency to deliver high-quality data solutions.Role involves:

• Contributing to the development and deployment of data processing solutions.
• Collaborating with Product Teams to understand requirements.
• Ensuring a high level of quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Providing technical support to resolve issues.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all developed services.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python and data manipulation libraries such as PySpark and Pandas.
• Mandatory experience with ETL tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for deriving insights from performance data.
• Effective team player with the ability to collaborate with senior engineers and product teams.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
