Product Owner

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Product Owner to maximize the value of its products. The Product Owner will be engaged on multiple levels, acting as a business strategist, product designer, market analyst, customer liaison, and project manager. This role involves defining goals and creating a vision for development projects, combining operational and analytical skills with strong problem-solving and communication abilities to solve operational, analytical, and strategic business problems.

The role involves:

• Collaborating with users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs.
• Defining the vision for the team's product and creating a product roadmap.
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing items based on changing requirements.
• Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development.
• Developing user stories and monitoring product progress at each stage.
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
• Managing scope, budget, and time, and evaluating and balancing priorities.
• Implementing process improvements and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Scrum agile organization as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Certified Product Owner.
• Direct experience working at an organization that has fully adopted SCRUM agile.
• Knowledgeable in software development and relevant web technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Experience as a Project Manager with hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture.
• Proficiency in the use of analytic tools.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with large teams.
• Understanding of design quality standards.
• High proficiency with Azure DevOps.
