Job Description
FLYR is seeking a Golang Engineer to join their Stock Keeper team. The engineer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's product, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization. They will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the reliability and scalability of FLYR's systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new product features for the Stock Keeper using Golang.
- Design and optimize database structures using Google Spanner.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and define service specifications.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and analytics solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and support for production issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the developed systems.
- Make accurate estimates for upcoming work and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Work in a product-focused scrum team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer (including 1 year as Golang Developer).
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) with a focus on Agile methodologies (preferably SCRUM).
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines.
- Past experience with the QA processes in software development.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
