Job Description

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Biorepository Technician I to assist in the retrieval, preservation, shipment, and receipt of biological samples. The technician will work in Frederick, MD, USA, and will be responsible for monitoring freezers, receiving biological samples, managing inventory, and shipping samples.Role involves:

• Monitoring freezers and responding to alarms.
• Receiving and unpacking specimens, recording pertinent information.
• Storing samples at appropriate temperatures.
• Managing inventory of frozen biological samples.
• Retrieving and shipping frozen samples.
• Completing necessary paperwork.
• Labeling vials and shipping boxes.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of general working experience.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry between 31-50 lbs.
• Fluency in English.
