Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a skilled professional to join their PlayStation team in Tokyo. This role focuses on supporting the repair of PlayStation products by creating a conducive environment, tools, and information for repair technicians. The successful candidate will contribute to the expansion of SIE's business while collaborating closely with global regional members.Responsibilities include:

• Developing repair jigs
• Creating service manuals (circuit diagram verification, disassembly/assembly, etc.)
• Preparing technical memos (component compatibility, work instructions, etc.)
• Creating technical information (circuit board repair information)
• Responding to inquiries from other SIE departments and regional members

Requirements:

• Understanding of parts search systems and BOM structure
• Experience in electrical or mechanical design (knowledge of electrical circuits or mechanical CAD operation)
• Management experience with 3+ staff for 1+ years
• English proficiency (reading and writing)
• Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
