Sales Engineer (POC) Cloud, Bangalore

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Sales Engineer (POC) Cloud to join their team in Bangalore. This role is part evangelist, part systems engineer, and part developer, focusing on deploying Pure Cloud technology within the GSI partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Public Cloud, hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, and the ability to learn new technologies.

Role involves:

• Consultative support for sales teams and customers
• Expert level presentation of test methodologies and results
• Development of Reference Test Plans
• Participation in the development, review, negotiation, and approval of proof-of-concept test plans
• Management of the allocated POC staging time
• Support proof-of-concept project workshops

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in enterprise cloud architecture
• Professional certification in AWS & Azure
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies
• Proficient in Public Cloud Services
• Experience with cloud security, networking, and disaster recovery best practices
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Experience with network security best practices and configurations
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
