Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Manager, App Security to join their Cyber and Data Security team. This role involves building and leading a high-performing application security team, designing and implementing security tools and processes, and partnering with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines. The Manager will also provide risk assessments and remediation guidance for vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Building and leading an application security team.
- Designing and implementing application security tools and processes.
- Partnering with software engineering and DevOps teams.
- Providing risk assessments and remediation guidance.
- Monitoring industry trends and emerging tools.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in application security.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proficiency with modern application security tools (SAST, SCA, secrets management).
- Hands-on experience in securing IaC templates and using scanning tools.
- Deep understanding of secure software development practices.
- Excellent team leadership and collaboration skills.
