Senior Machinist

Agile Space Industries is seeking a Senior Machinist to support the production of rocket engines at their manufacturing center in Durango, Colorado. In this role, the Senior Machinist will work with the Manufacturing Director to maintain the facilities and support the machining, assembly, and delivery of high-quality rocket hardware for in-space propulsion and R&D applications. Role Involves:

• Operating lathes, mills, and surface grinders
• Performing inspections using metrology equipment
• Providing feedback on engineering drawings to improve machinability
• Maintaining equipment
• Assembling hardware as needed
• Following all safety guidelines
• Troubleshooting machining problems
• Leading, training, or mentoring others

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of machining experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to self-direct work
• Computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• US Citizen or permanent resident
