Job Description
NATIONAL is seeking an entry-level candidate for a Chargé(e) de projets role in Montreal. The candidate will collaborate on various projects and expand their knowledge of public relations. The ideal candidate is curious, comfortable stepping outside their comfort zone, and eager to apply their skills to media relations programs and influencer marketing campaigns for diverse clients and projects.
The role involves working with various consulting teams to develop and implement communication and content strategies for the Firm's clients. The candidate will also contribute to the team's smooth operation by assisting with internal administrative functions and conducting research for active mandates and service offerings.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with consulting teams on mandates.
- Executing press relations plans, including media list creation, press release writing, journalist outreach, and interview coordination.
- Executing influencer marketing and communication plans.
- Assisting with daily communication program management (coordination, monitoring, media relations, reporting, partnerships, etc.).
- Providing technical and logistical support to team members, particularly for calls for tenders and service offerings.
- Using AI tools to support the team in various tasks, contributing to research, creation, analysis, and work optimization.
- Maintaining internal work tools (lists, etc.).
- Preparing and revising various documents (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Monitoring social media and media news.
- Drafting summary reports outlining key issues and campaign results.
Requirements:
- University degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in media relations and corporate/product positioning in an agency is an asset.
- Perfectly bilingual in spoken and written French and English.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Knowledge of media monitoring tools like Meltwater or CISION is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the media ecosystem, social media, and opinion leaders in Quebec and Canada.
