Job Description
Vimeo is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its Monetization team. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's Growth and Monetization initiatives, focusing on driving revenue growth through innovative product features and optimized user experiences. The Engineering Manager will lead a team of 3 to 5 engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

The role involves:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3 to 5 experienced engineers.
  • Owning the technical vision and execution for monetization initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts.
  • Establishing and enforcing best practices for development.
  • Driving the planning and execution of A/B testing strategies.
  • Contributing to technical design discussions.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Experience writing technical documents and performing code reviews.
  • A solid understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks (React, Next, Typescript).
  • Good understanding of back-end development and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient in utilizing analytics and A/B testing platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Design teams.
