Job Description
Altos Labs is seeking a highly motivated and creative Director/Senior Director to join the Institute of Medicine (IoM) Development Sciences team. This role involves contributing to the mission of restoring cell health and reversing disease through cell rejuvenation. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with the Institutes of Science and Computation (IoS and IoC) across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities.
Role Involves:
- Developing and implementing Medicinal Chemistry strategies.
- Leading Medicinal Chemistry in project teams.
- Designing and synthesizing tool molecules.
- Cross-functional collaboration with IoS and IoC.
- Recommending and leading innovations.
- Managing resource allocation.
- Assessing assay capability and capacity needs.
- Creating partnerships with groups in the Institutes of Science and Medicine.
- Contributing to a team culture of continuous improvement and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry.
- 10+ years of industry experience in Drug Discovery.
- Extensive knowledge of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery approaches.
- Experience working with CROs.
- Track record of patents and publications.
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively.
- Clear and influential communication skills.
