BX - Frontend Team Lead

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Frontend Engineering Team Lead to join their Budapest office. The Engineering Team Lead will assist the Engineering Manager in building high-performance teams by leading a team of talented individuals, ensuring they have the right environment to succeed. This role involves fostering a healthy team spirit and culture, actively participating in team activities, and taking ownership of the team's performance.

Responsibilities:

• Building a team with the right mix of skills and knowledge through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Building a multi-brand Frontend Platform using MicroFrontends, Web Components, TypeScript, Reactive Programming (RxJS) and Playwright (for Quality Automation)
• Direct line management of people in the team, being accountable for their performance, satisfaction and career development planning.
• Driving and facilitating the team's delivery to production in terms of both time and quality, taking responsibility to ensure the team makes commitments and lives up to expectations.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and passion for quality in our products.

Requirements:

• A strong Frontend Engineering background or Quality (with emphasis on Automation).
• Natural leader who wants to coach and inspire individuals to grow further in their career.
• A good understanding of Scrum and Agile.
• Someone who can balance their day-to-day workload efficiently between leadership, software engineering and SCRUM.
