Job Description
The Wow is seeking a Delivery Engineering Team Lead. This role involves leading the implementation of strategy, development, and operational excellence of CI/CD platforms and Internal Developer Portals (IDPs). The Team Lead will ensure engineering teams have reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure, enabling them to build, test, and deploy software seamlessly. The ideal candidate will align platform strategy with business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Role Involves:
- Implementing the roadmap for platform enablement.
- Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Working closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams.
- Implementing observability and performance optimization strategies.
- Leading and mentoring a team of platform engineers.
- Driving continuous improvements in platform capabilities.
- Implementing strategies that enhance developer workflows and automation.
- Forming part of a 24/7 on call roster to support engineering team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling: ArgoCD, Github Actions, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
- Experience designing, developing, and managing APIs.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
