Job Description
Postman is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to join their rapidly growing sales team. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth at Technical SaaS companies. This role involves managing a territory of around 100 accounts, understanding how customers are using Postman, and introducing them to the Enterprise Suite capabilities.
Responsibilities: - Take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure
- Build a strategic plan for your territory
- Create and manage sales sourced outbound opportunities
- Execute a land and expand sales strategy
- Educate customers on the value of Postman
- Navigate key decision makers
- Leverage data to understand customers and prospects
- Provide recommendations based on business needs
- Identify customer needs and collaborate with teammates
- Communicate and organize topics appropriately
- Provide a detailed and accurate forecast
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, etc.
- Be a great listener!
Requirements: - 3-5 years experience hunting and closing net new logos
- Experience creatively sourcing pipeline
- Experience in an Enterprise SaaS organization
- Experience selling developer and/or technical products
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven negotiation and closing skills
- Strong track record of navigating organizations
- Ability to develop senior level relationships
- Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities
- Takes an active interest in increasing customer satisfaction
