Figure is seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Underwriting to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Figure is a financial technology firm focused on homeownership and consumer finance. The Senior Operations Manager will collaborate with Product, Credit, and Quality Control teams to develop and maintain underwriting processes. What This Role Involves:
  • Underwriting loans and verifying compliance.
  • Developing guidelines and processes for new loan products.
  • Analyzing complex income documentation.
  • Maintaining service level agreements.
  • Communicating with sales and operations teams.
  • Assisting in training new underwriters.
  • Adapting loan terms and identifying conditions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on complex loans.

What Figure is Looking For:
  • 5+ years of underwriting experience.
  • Experience with Self-Employed, Trusts, LLCs, POAs, and DSCR.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in building technical processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
