Solution Architect (Anaplan - EPM)

Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Solution Architect to join their Professional Services team in Australia. The Solution Architect will be responsible for the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions in strategic accounts. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, with remote options available in Melbourne.

The Solution Architect will work with a team of innovators focused on optimizing business decision-making through Anaplan's leading scenario planning and analysis platform. The company values diversity of thought and ideas, and is committed to achieving ambitious goals while having fun.

Role involves:

• Translating existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
• Modifying existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality
• Serving as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions
• Developing model documentation
• Participating in data integration and migration solutions
• Participating and/or leading UAT testing and deployment

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science
• 6+ years’ experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions - Ideally with experience in Anaplan or similar EPM products.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable)
• Superb written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to lead execute responsibilities simultaneously
• Penchant for service excellence and a collaborative style
• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in either FP&A or Supply Chain space strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound)
